En diferentes competencias estuvieron presentes las argentinas. Belén Díaz en España y Daira Marín en la Patagonia argentina.
Belén Díaz participó en el Grand Prix Internacional Trofeu Alejandro López. La argentina que vive en España se clasificó a la final de 100 mts. mariposa al ser segunda en su serie. La nadadora marcó un tiempo de 1:04.03. Sin embargó se descompuso por lo que debió abandonar la competencia.
Mientras tanto en Argentina hubo competencias en aguas abiertas. Precisamente en Villa La Angostura, donde en la prueba de 10 km. Daira Marín obtuvo la victoria. Además Tomás Cofré fue el ganador en la categoría 14 – 19 años.
Previamente tuvo lugar el V Desafío Lago Mari Menuco, en la playa del Tenis Club Neuquén. La competencia contó con un circuito boyado y recorridos de 2 y 4 kilómetros. Aquí Marín ganó en los 4000 mts. con 51m10s. El podio se completó con Tomás Jouglard (14 – 19 años) con un tiempo de 55m29s y en tercer lugar quedó Fabricio Martínez con un registro de 55m38s.
El segundo puesto fue para el neuquino Tomás Jouglard, de 14-19 años, con un registro de 55m29s y tercero finalizó Fabricio Martínez con 55.38.
De esta manera las nadadoras argentinas Díaz y Marín sumaron rodaje. Y así poder recuperar ritmo luego de que la pandemia frenara las competencias deportivas.
