Sobre sus competencias internacionales previas a Buenos Aires 2018, contó: “Estábamos más afuera del país entrenando que adentro junto a mi compañero Franco Serrano, pero nos sirvió de mucho, ya que nos fue muy bien, que a pesar de no conseguir medalla fue nuestra mejor actuación internacional”.
Armanazqui resaltó también sobre la próxima cita panamericana juvenil que: “daremos todo por estar lo más alto posible, a pesar de pasar la lesión y todo lo que vivimos en la pandemia, pero esperamos estar a la altura de esta competencia”.
