Los nadadores argentinos sumaron nuevas medallas. Así alcanzaron un total de 36 y aún quedan dos días de competencia en Sudamericano Juvenil.
En el Campeonato Sudamericano Juvenil de Deportes Acuáticos, se llevan a cabo las competencias de natación. La delegación argentina comenzó con gran cosecha en las primeras jornadas y ahora sumó otros seis podios.
La mitad de las conquistas fue en los 200 mts. mariposa, con Guadalupe Bustos como subcampeona, Magdalena Portela y Nicolás Rolón en el tercer puesto. También Valentín Defrutos se llevó su presea individual al subirse al último escalón del podio en 1500 mts. libre. Además los relevos mixtos en 4X100 libre ganaron una plata y un bronce.

De esta manera Argentina marcha segunda en el medallero con 9 doradas, 14 de plata y 16 de bronce. Aún restan dos días de competencia para seguir sumando.
