Terminó el Sudamericano Juvenil de Deportes Acuáticos. En natación Argentina ganó 65 medallas, la suma más grande en este tipo de eventos.
Llegó a su fin el Campeonato Sudamericano Juvenil de Deportes Acuáticos, que tuvo lugar en Lima, Perú. La delegación argentina cerró su actuación con la suma de 10 nuevos podios. Así logró la mejor cosecha en la historia de los Sudamericanos Juveniles.
Entre las medallas individuales hubo dos campeonas. Selene Alborzen en los 200 mts. pecho y Lucía Gauna en 800 mts. libre. En esta prueba del estilo libre Malena Santillán y Candela Giordanino se colgaron las plateadas. Las últimas individuales vinieron con Fernando Arce y Juan Carrocia en 200 mts. pecho.

De esta manera los argentinos cerraron un gran torneo. Con 65 medallas en total es la más numerosa en los Suramericanos Juveniles. Fueron 14 doradas, 25 de plata y 26 de bronce para terminar por debajo de Brasil.
